Not a 4R. saw this at the dealer this evening when I passed by.
color is pretty radical. Gonna be a hit with some people. The color is vibrant.
    Sticker is $86,999

Looks like there are 4 in the south east, I have not seen this color in person until now.

Looks like one in Austin Texas
Looks like one in San Marcos Texas
Looks like one in Metairie Louisiana
Looks like one in Vicksburg Mississippi

87k? Fuck me, that's LC 200 territory. Also why I bought a 4runner. I really wanted a LC for a base build but I could buy two 4runners for a single LC

A wrap would be lots less expensive on a current vehicle

Yessir the LC are very very expensive. I really like the 2020-2021 models but yikes $125k+ isn’t cool for a sequoia with luxury. These new sequoia prices are Yonkers. The same with the Yukon Denali and escapade. Them junts are nuts. The prices are insane for higher trim vehicles these days.

Love the color and would go for it in a 5th gen 4Runner.

Saw a truck in Wave Maker drive by a couple weeks ago in Dallas but can't remember which model it was specifically.

    Is it finally production-ready?

I saw a 2026 4R at a dealer in Lexington in the Wavemaker color. Definitely a color geared for the younger crowd. Not for me.

Looking on the innernet, it would appear that this is the “fall” 2026 TRD PRO color and yea there is a photoshoot that shows all the models tundra, Tacoma, 4R, and sequoia in this color. So I guess it’s in production and hitting lots.

Seems like a color that should be on a small sports car. It’s too much for a massive suv.

This sequoia line is the real step up from 5th gen

    Prices are obnoxious though

But people love swimming in debt

    Not really
Have you watched any of the 6th gen 4R reviews specifically the back seat? You see how everyone has to twist their feet sideways to climb in, and hit their head going in and coming out and have no head room if the 4R has a sunroof?
Hop on in the new Sequoia in the back seat and the same thing happens. Sure the Sequoia is "larger" but its really not. You park a new sequoia beside a 5th gen and walk back 100-200ft and they look the same size.

    5th gen 4R = 191" long x 76" wide x 72" tall
    6th gen 4R = 195" long x 78" wide x 74" tall
    New Sequoia = 208" long x 80" wide x 74" tall

My wife gets a wild hair and wants a new vehicle every 12 months or so, and often brings different vehicles home to "try out" and we often just ride around lots to look just to keep her pacified. Not long ago we stopped at the Toyota dealer and climbed in a new Sequoia and found the same thing in the back seats as the new 6th gen 4R, the back seat was crazy cramped, the B-pillar too far back and the rear seat too far forward which gives you the "squished" feeling climbing in and climbing out. I am pretty sure you gotta twist your foot sideways to get in and out. Also i vaguely remember the head room climbing in and out wasnt kosher for some reason. Its been quite a few months but both she and i climbed in the back seat and were like
    "man this feels cramped"

I'm sure there is a right buyer for that rig.

Not me though. I'm not cool enough to drive that and not look like a weeb.

Ha, i didnt even open the back hatch of it but now i realize what you are talm'bout

    https://www.autoblog.com/reviews/we...as-cargo-space-to-the-test-with-a-photo-booth

The 2nd row captains chairs dont fold down to the floor
The 3rd row bench doesnt fold down to the floor
The battery pack is under the 3rd row seats so they are up on a platform
So you get an elevated bench seat and a set of 2nd row captains chairs in the way for loading anything long or big.

Why in the world did they not build the back seat similar to the 5th gen 4Runner with 3rd row? Allow the seat base to slide forward and fold down into the foot well and then allow the seat back to fold down flat where the seat base was.
That thing is super lame that it just folds up like an RV couch/bed

Remember SUVs like the 1st-3rd gen 4Runners, 80s & 90s Suburban & Ford Excursion? Those are all truly real SUVs. Because when you fold down all the seats, you have a truly flat surface that is as big as a truck bed!

When the third row is up there is barely enough storage space for grocery bags. It’s a big ass vehicle that’s functionally useless.

Now hybrid battery packs have become a priority over functional storage space.
