2024 Upgrade.

Hey y’all. As a birthday gift to myself I decided to upgrade my 2021 SR5 to a 2024 TRD off-road. I bought the SR5 used with 60,000 miles on it and I loved it. I took it to Santiago Peak a few times, we went to Cleghorn and Lytle creek and she never failed me, ATRAC is more than enough. I’ve never owned a new car so I bit the bullet and treated myself, plan is to keep it for life.

Congrats! I'm still in shock that I have a brand new vehicle in our carport. We purchased our 2024 TRD Offroad Premium mid-April and drove it off the lot with 7 miles on it. I just changed the oil on it at 780 miles this past weekend. The reveal of the 6th gen gave the final push I needed to pull the trigger.

I've never spent more than 5-10k on a vehicle my entire life. I just turned 40 this year and decided it was time to live a little. Irony is I'm scared to drive it (in time, I hope)

 

Absolutely! I took all my aftermarket stuff off the SR5, everything but the KO2s. I see a lot of love for general grabbers and Mickey Thompson on here. I think I might try something different.

I feel you. I just crossed 100miles, still babying it☺️ I’m thinking of getting PPF or at least ceramic coat it, some kind of paint protection.

I've always loved the red. Very nice! I also traded up for my birthday this year.

 

I too just got one... in the same color I had back in 2014 because I think one of the later model 5th Gens is the best car there is. It has all of the little modern conveniences my newer Taco had, but in the superior platform for my use case now. I missed by 4Runner immensely as time wore on and the thought of being able to get one that has well functioning headlights/foglights, Apple CarPlay, blind spot, decent stereo, heated steering wheel, was too tempting. Especially once I drove the new hybrid turbo motor (via the Landcruiser) that's going into the 6th Gen TH and Pros. It's the last of the analog 4Runners with physical buttons and switches and lacking the video game gauge cluster. Get one now while you still can!!!!!! I think in 25 years, it's gonna be super coveted because it's just a solid, no nonsense car.

Congrats . Bought a new 24 ORP Underground right off the truck two weeks ago . Still has less than 200 miles on it .
