2024 TRD Pro Lift

I had planned on running the new Eibach kit for the 2023-2024 TRD Pros, but given the kit is 2.5" in front and 1", in the rear I am looking at a new direction as I don't want to run nose high.

I like to have a little rake, so when I run a little weigh in the rear, I am still level, but at the same time I would like close to the factory rider or a tad firmer when empty. I will be running 285's in standard load.

Leaning towards the Westcott kit for the TRD Pro, but I think the standard kit with the 1.7" front and 1.25" rear puts you pretty close to level. So I think I would be nose high when running a load. The other option is the Westcott kit front at 1.7" front and Bilstien 1.5" springs in rear or the Westcott 2" front and Icon 2" springs in rear.

Overall I am very pleased with the factory Fox ride. Maybe just a little bit stiffer would be a plus.

 

I run the eibach stage 1 kit on my 23' at 2.75 front and 1 in the rear but added a 1/2 inch cornfed spacer in the rear. Truck sits with the factory rake and got rid of the nose dive, I highly reccomend it.

 

You can order the front 2.5" eibach springs and then run wheelers t13(1.5" lift) or dobinson rear springs(which come in different heights)

Or as stated above run rear spacer with the eibach kit.

 

What size tires are you planning to run? Is standard load an SL, C or E load range?

 

285 in SL. Either the Wildpeak A/T4W or Toyo AT3.

 

I know 285 millimeter wide, but how tall? 285mm is the width, and I think 285mm is available in 26" - 34" tall tires. Without the aspect ratio and wheel size 285mm doesn't really mean much.

My vote for Westcott kit for the TRD Pro as they have a spacer on top of the strut so shock does not have to extent more than its designed for. I think TRD Pro shocks are not designed to run in lifted format as other aftermarket shocks that are really designed for lifted applications. especially the rear.

If I were to do it I would buy suspension that is designed to run as lifted setup. I would pick up from what I need as I see there are 0-2in lift and 2-3in lift options in some of the options. Me personally would get 2-3in lift setup with adjusters and run closer to 2in front lift (least preload on spring) and 1.5in rear lift so I have lift plus decent comfort.

Just a minor note TRD Pro wheels does not meet tire manufacturer specs to run 285/70/17. Only TRD offroad wheels meet the minimum specs for 285/70/17, but so many people run 285/70/17 on TRD Pro wheels.

I think 285/70/17 Wildpeak A/T4W or Toyo AT3 are around 32.76 diameter, so less trouble in trimming. Some 285/70R17 are over 33in diameter which could have more rubbing issues.

 

Will 285/70/17 rub on a stock 2023 TRD Pro?

 

Yes, on a 2021 TRD Pro.
Front can be cut to give plenty clearance but rear mud flap rubs. I tried heating but keeps coming back after few days. Def needs a lift to fit 285s.
