    Hi fam
New to the 4runner world, came from a range rover sport to a 2020 4runner trd pro. since the range rover was more of a city-luxury car there wasnt much to modify or upgrade and After seeing all the 4runner top mod rigs online and around Im kind of curious where to start. Everything on my car is stock and i would like to maybe add a ditch light, bull bar, ext. but I have no clue where to begin or how to start.

If anyone knows any good sites, YouTube channels or bands to shop i would greatly appreciate the recommendations!

Some love a bull bar, others will say it's stupid! My personal preference is the sso Slimline bumper. Only downer is our safety sensor would be blocked by the bar(bull bar could also block the safety sensor?)
Mods? Sky's the limit my friend, read the forums, many leave a pro stock, some do mild builds, some $$$$$. Its one of the perks of a 4runner to do as you please. Becareful with cheap knockoff parts, especially lighting, it's cheap for a reason

Just drive the damn thing. Modify if you decide there's a shortcoming for your use. Don't let instagram tell you what to do.

    Welcome,
Leave it stock for a while before changing things. Just my opinion. Been thru the mods and in my experience sometimes you wish leave things alone till you get some miles on it.

4 Runners have a lot of engineering integrity in stock form. They’re one of the few off road vehicles that also excel on the highway at high speed. They’re dependable, unlike LRs, and they are safe with 8 air bags. If you decide to change the balance of these attributes, you usually off set a gain with a loss. As the mods accumulate, you can compromise the design integrity of the vehicle and end up with a low value hot rod that you can’t sell if you ever decide to get something new.

If you plan on any off roading, you should consider adding some rock sliders. There are lots of manufacturers. I just added a set from 4 X Innovations.

If you’re going to go with a bull bar I’d recommend only one manufacturer. ARB!!!

People say they look ugly and stick out too far but they are a stout bumper and take a beating without compromising the vehicle or occupants.

Had a Wrangler years back with arb bumper. Had a collision and it left an imprint of the arb in the back of a Ford explorer. Cops came and we're looking for another vehicle, insurance demanded I come in for an estimate they did not believe no damage to my Jeep. Survived with minor scratches
