2016 4runner Limited Chrome Delete Q's

Hello Everyone,

Just bought a 2016 4runner limited with that pearl white color. I'm looking to do a chrome delete but had a few questions. Did you guys do overlays or wraps? Which lasts longer? I found kits on etsy for most all the exterior chrome parts, but I can't find anything for the door handles. Also, are most of the parts for the limited the same as sr5? There isn't a lot of limited dedicated parts I'm finding so I am hoping there is some sort of universal parts.

EDIT: I am also looking to remove the running boards. Should i put locktite on the bolts when I am done to prevent rust?

I would skip the loctite on the running boards and re-install the bolts with anti-seize.

chrome delete as in all black?
chrome delete as in all black chrome like the nightshade?
What are you wanting specifically?

If you want it to look the best, and last the longest, you would want to swap the chrome bits for TRD Sport bits and have them color matched and painted.
If you want a cheap "easy" fix you can get the black lick-n-stick overlays and put over most of the chrome but i dont believe this being a long term fix
If you want a decent multi year fix you can wrap it in vinyl
If you want black chrome you can swap in for the nightshade parts
