After 2 years of development and testing TJM has the privilege of introducing our Innovative 5th Gen Toyota 4Runner modular rear tire carrier. We strongly believe we have successfully exceeded every mark on our tire carrier in design, fitment, functionality and price.
    Highlights:

    • Our engineers have thought of everything to make the TJM included every detail for an easy installation (new back-up camera, wire harness and license plate kit with light included).

    • Modular Design- Rear Bumper, Left Arm & Right Arm can be purchased separately allowing you to meet you target budget. Purchase each part overtime or as a complete kit.

    • Each tire carrier arm has been designed to stay parallel with the factory frame allowing us to keep the weight stress to a minimum and keeping bumper from twisting down-words.

    • Easy open latches and non-bearing arms will keep your tire carrier maintenance free and reliable.

Am I mistaken, or do they tilt back a little?

Does the arms stay open or just swing freely? So if the 4R is parked on slightly uneven ground would they just flap with gravity or have some hold to certain positions kinda like the regular doors.

It’s hard to tell. Looks like the hi lift is angled but the swing arm is straight?

Found this vid on YouTube that gives a simple breakdown on the TJM 5th Gen Rear Bumper.

The drop down tables are kind of small, but I’m sure you could find away to retrofit to something larger if needed. Looks like a great value for what’s all included!

wonder what the turn around time would be after ordering?
