It's been going on for a while now but unfortunately counterfeit/junk parts has reached a ridiculous level. Even the dealerships are having problems getting parts that are certified. I know it's been said but make sure your parts are Denso/Toyota. Just last week my BMW needed a new MAF with snorkel, had to order it from my local BMW dealer, when the parts came in from the BMW distribution center the dealer discovered the MAF and the snorkel was counterfeit. Enough said.

Now, assuming your MAF, Coils, Plugs/Wires and Sensors are all good... What's left? I would go with fuel.

I went with NGK due to price, and the ability to buy from Rock auto and confidence that they are ACTUALLY NGK. this car is only driven 25 miles a week. Im confident in them.
Fuel would be next for sure. The codes are all over the place, its shown that every cylinder is misfiring at once, or just a geneic misfire or only Cyl 1. So fuel is possible. I got my money back on the junk equipment and upgraded to NGK, and it only set me back another $150 all said

i didn’t even know what rock auto was so shout out whoever suggested it. I hope im not dealing with fuel injectors though. Fingers crossed

Ngk should be fine and hopefully that's all you need. Did you get plugs too?

RockAuto is the best. I use it.... way too much.

The plugs being out is a good opportunity for a compression test. Toyota fuel injectors are pretty durable.

Junk ignition coils. I got bad advice from a friend, i needed new spark plugs and was advised i should change the coils while i was in there. I went cheap, but the item had good reviews, but they failed in 2 months. I got some NGKs and up and running now

I've learned the hard way that you never throw out working OEM parts.

Yep, luckily 1A auto did refund the old coils without even requiring a return. All in all it cost me +150-200 more for the NGK

i was also talked into a new battery during all of this, but i was eventually going to be due anyways. It was 3.5 years old
