2005 SR5

Please need items to trouble shoot. Rear window works rarely 1 out of 10 tries. Rear hatch sometimes 1 out of 6 times. Have disconnected battery and pulled fuse to reset it cannot recognize a pattern. Rear wiper does not work. Rear defrost does not work. Locks and latches are clean. Window is all the way up. Wiring harness looks very good on the outside at the top of the door. Next step is to open it up. I cannot recognize a pattern to the items working and not working it's just random it seems. Think you are on the right path to suspect a larger hatch connector based off of the symptoms you referenced.

Do not have a manual to help pinpoint that cat for you.

Thanks all for the welcome. The
Rear hatch and associated issues will have to take a back seat. Had a throttle body actuator and housing installed yesterday for code P2103 lights CEL VSC off ABS and VSC Trac light. Removed code. After about 10 miles all lights came back on. Not sure now.

 

Got code p2103 throttle actuator and had it replaced . Mechanic said the vehicle had to relearn so he went through that process. I drove it for about 50 miles no issue and all the rear hatch items started working correctly the hatch the window the wiper and defrost is thought I was in the clear. Then I started it up and back to eng light VSC track off lights came back on but no limp mode. I'm at a loss again. I disconnected the neg on the battery and that cleared all the lights.bimbgoingvto drive it and start stop it all day long to try to determine what's going on. It seems to drive and sound great.
