Hello everyone, just wanted to get some opinions I'm on the market on buying a 4th gen 4runner and found what I think is a great deal.
    2003 v8 sr5 silver
    232k miles
Has your typical wear and tear inside but the exterior looks really good. I did see some rust under the truck by the back rear tire.
    No CEL
    price is 1800$
I think it's a great deal from what I seen but I'm a little iffy about it. Clean title as well.
What do you guys think? Anything I should look into? Thanks?!

Welcome! Try to get some pictures of the undercarriage and post them. That would probably offer you the best advise...

Price sounds good. How are the body panels (rust, dings, scratches) and the interior (seats, carpet, instrument panel).

What maintenance records are included? Has the timing belt been replaced?

Definitely find out about this. It's actually not hard to do yourself if you have the time and tools.

Also, this is when I had to start doing some maintenance on my '03. Front CV axles, hub bearings (if they haven't been done), shocks, etc.

The price is excellent, though, as long as there's no major issues with the truck. I traded mine in in 2017 with 257K and got $3K. $1800 is probably well below market value.

Pics and link? Sounds like a scam. Did you personally see it or just online? $1800 is too cheap.

In my area of the US if it will drive away it's worth at least $1800. pick ups are high even bad ones.
