Mostly all stock as best as I can tolerate with the poor wiring they have
Have gone through all the basics. I bought a new alternator and put that in. I’m getting 12 V off the battery and off the alternator post. Starts and runs fine if I charge it up I can drive it for a hour no problem. Tack fuel alternator oil pressure all sit dead on dash. I tried putting power to the 7.5 amp fuse to see if I could excite the alternator to start charging…. Have power at the 80 amp fuse. I am open to any suggestions. I know Toyota did things a bit different back in the 80s. Still trying to figure out some of the things they did. I’ve rewired the back window so I can use it. Spent three or four days trying to figure the system out that would make it work normally and gave up. I’m willing to do that with the alternator if I can just make it work somehow.
    Somebody please give me guidance

Don’t have much more time with his truck. I’m looking at a new one if I can’t get this thing up and running. Just put 2000 into a rebuilt engine two years ago. Any help is appreciated. I know the factory wiring is prone to bad connections. I have gone through this truck a couple times cleaning all the connections and putting dielectric grease on. I’ve got hundreds of hours into it but just can’t afford to keep spending time on it I just don’t know them well enough to figure this out
