Ok, back up for a moment. When you say flashing are you seeing both the green (wheel) leds as well as the orange (center diff) led flashing? If so and with the "4WD" button pressed in place the transmission into reverse and s l o w l y try backing up a few feet. Stop and observe the 4WD dash indicator. Solid green LEDs and no orange you're good to go in AWD mode.

Still flashing? Place the transmission into N, undo the "4WD" button and manually change the transfer case into the "H4L" position. Transmission into "D" and try moving forward a few feet. Transmission into "N" and shift the manual transfer case back to the "H2-H4" position. Depress the "4WD" button and observe the 4wd indicator.

The idea here is to manually cycle the center diff into and out of locked so that it isn't mechanical stuck to the point that the actuator is stalling out. Let us know how it goes.

So I don’t think I have the center diff light all I see is the flashing green wheel lights? I did what you said and it’s still not engaging 4wd

We'll see if others come up with solutions to try here, but at this point, I'd honestly consider getting a professional opinion on this. That way, even if you don't get them to fix it, you know what's wrong and can possibly just fix yourself. Your call though. ;)

Holy sh*t. 4wd stuff is expensive! Thats like $11,300 CAD!!! Wow. Probably more than the trucks worth. I'm not sure how hard it is to replace. I have a feeling your going to learn though, because thats a LOT of $$$ if you don't!

So I think I had the diff actuator working for a moment? I was banging on it with a dead blow and the front drive shaft started spinning but would not engage 4wd. I think I might have a problem with the ADD maybe a vacuum switch or something? But now the diff actuator is not engaging? Maybe the diff acuator and the add are bad?

So I thought I would give you guys some updates lol I was having problem with the add switches not having vacuum. After many beers and many more hours contemplating life I found out that the vacuum lines were hooked up wrong. I fixed that and now have vacuum at the add switches. Was also having problems with high idle, hooking the lines where they were supposed to go fixed that too.crazy how that works lol Next step is to replace the transfer case actuator. Wish me luck!

Have you tried RockAuto? They are great. Otherwise for something like the actuator I'd go OEM if RockAuto doesnt have a quality one
