I’m really wanting to get into a 4runner. Looking at it being my daily driver (I drive very little in personal vehicle) and a hobby rig. In everyone’s opinion which would you choose and why? Both in good shape FYI

1999 3rd gen 139000 miles basically stock for 7000 dollars, maroon in color or a 1995 2nd gen with 105000 miles for 5500, green in color?

magazine both in what seems to be good shape. Both have had timing belt changed.

I’m kinda partial to the 3rd gens. i like the 3.4 motor, but hey everybody has their own opinion.

33"KM2s, 4.88s, Spartan Locker, TG rear bumper, AllPro Kickout sliders, 4Crawler 1.5" BJS, OME 2" Dakar springs.
    Completely different suspensions. 3.4>3.0

I would go with the 3rd Gen. The 3.0 is a dog in comparison and gets horrible fuel mileage.

Do these seem like good prices?

Is it 4wd? All maintenance records? Do they look well maintained? Price depends on area and if you feel comfortable with the price. You should always offer less. Do you have links for both?
