Gentlemen, I came into possession of a 1996 4runner that hadn't been driven in years when I came in possession of it but it would crank and run (not well). after changing next to everything (plugs, coils, idle air controler, injectors every hose etc) it runs better but ive had a persistent missfire. After several days of looking for a potential cause I bought a noid light to start testing the injector plugs and low and behold injector plug 1 is not firing off.

This is where things get weird sometimes injector plug #1 does work, sometimes plug #1 and 3# doesn't work, and the idle air control conector also doesn't work,

At this point I suspect I have a weird electrical gremlin or a dying ecu I would appreciate anyone who might have come across a similar issue as I am far from an expert on these engines and definitely need some advice.
