I wanted to see if anyone had a ECM problem after doing a EGR Delete kit my ECM keeps going into a default mode on a cold start. I did the egr delete and now I’m having a problem on cold start it will run rough and misfire and run rich. But once the motor gets up to normal temperature it will run fine and smooth with no problems. So the EGR kit came with 2 resistors I used the 10k if I remove it and try it without the resistor will it hurt anything?

This is a little odd as the EGR is only "supposed" to function in the off idle or cruise situations. At idle it should be inactive (even removed).
What other info does the kit have on the resistors and which size to use. Does the 1995 have an EGR temp sensor on the line?

So I did the EGR delete the kit comes with the two block off plates and gaskets and two resistors I believe one is a 2K and the other one is a 10K resistor that’s the one most people use when they do the delete and I used the 10K resistor. But for some reason my ECM is not excepting the Egr delete on a cold start but once the motor warms up to regular temperature it runs fine and smooth. It’s got me very puzzled on what to do next to fix this issue. And when I reset the ECM it will run fine and idle but when I try to accelerate it will start running rough again and running rich.
