    Here's one for you:
My 06 4Runner has some AC issues. I get fairly cold air from the two passenger side dash vents but only warm or ambient air from the two drivers side vents. I don't have the dual zone option to select seperate temps for each side. Also, the air temp from the vents is colder with the recirculate button off. What the heck is going on?? I also tried adding freon. It won't take any.

No, I haven't. It seems odd that the 2 dash vents on the driver's side are warm air but the 2 on the passenger side are cold. It's almost like it's dual climate control but I don't have that option.

Ya the same thing was happening to me, it’s like the driver side only got ambient temp air coming out but the passenger side was still cold. I did an AC service/recharge and it fixed the problem.
