I'd like to see if anyone has put on an airaid throttle body spacer for **the 03' 4.7L**?
Airaid makes them for the 04 and up 4.7L but says not for the 03? It's exactly the same body and engine. they sent me a damaged one and will sent back for replacement.178510537_R_9ece0404-1ebe-4869-8223-6638444881d4.jpg

Not sure why they wouldn't fit 03 as well if it's make for 4runner, but if it's just for any 4.7 like a tundra or LC there could be different clearances and some variables in throttle body coolant lines and such. Try it. Also not sure they do much other than whistle but would be interested to hear your review.

Well, finally got a warm enough day to install. I have a Volant cold air intake system, not working around the hem unit. The intake tube is about 1/2" from fan blades and over flow bottle. But, when installed, thought it was put on backwards from left to right screw (flow of air) it only went on one way and I didn't hear any whistle, but DEFINITELY increased the acceleration low to mid range. I didn't get that with the V6 and airaid with K&N.

Exactly. Right behind the "cold" air intake for biggest rip off. :der: You're only mashing the throttle harder!
