Hi .. i'm looking at a used 2007 limited 4runner to purchase from a car dealer. It has 66,000 miles and asking $14,900 for it. It appears to be in great shape other than a rip in the side of the driver seat. Has anyone had any issues with 2007 4Runners? Do you think this is a good price?

I have a 2005 V6 4 runner with 150,000 miles. These are great reliable trucks. Change the oil every 4000 miles.

Check the color of the oil on dipstick and test drive the car. At 50 mph let go the steerig wheel and see if she pulls right or left.

Make sure she shifts without jerking or transmission sounds.

Change the rear differential fluid with 3 quarts of Valvoline 80W 90 ($5 a quart). Drain plug is easy to get at.

Get the price down $1000 or two. Any maintenance history from the shop/dealer?

Brand new 4runners go for $36,000.
