I noticed something interesting today. When recirculating the air with the AC on (see first picture), all seems normal.

But as soon as I change the mode to "feet only", the recirculate function turns off.

Not a big deal or a problem. I just found it interesting. I would have assumed once recirculate was enabled, it would stay that way through all of the modes (except defrost, obviously). That's seemingly not the case.

I thought I read something about recirculate coming on when the temps at the coldest but when you take it off max it goes off but I haven't totally noticed that to be the case either. So does anybody have the low-down about the recirculate? It seems sometimes it lights up when I turn air on and sometimes it doesn't. I keep fooling around different ways and can't find any real common denominator. Inquiring minds want to know.

When I first turn on the truck, if the AC is in the on position the recirc will be on. Even if I did not have it set to recirc when I turned the truck off. Not sure about the feet only, usually run face or face/feet.

Yep, recirc automatically turns on if AC is on and you turn the temp to maximum cold. If you turn the temp down at that point, recirc stays on. You have to manually turn it off.

At least, that's how I remember it.

Even when temp isnt all the way down, if the ac is on recirc comes on when turning truck on.
