Anyone local happen to have a set of 2" rear lift spacers for sale? Or possibly want to trade their 2" spacers for my 1.5" spacers?

 

I'm working on putting together another meet in April. Patapsco park off rt40 Ellicott City for a meet and BBQ Saturday April 13th 3:00 everyone is welcome and family friendly. BYOB, something for the grill, snacks, whatever you want to contribute!

Was there any interest from the 4runner group here? I used to work near that Frisco - cool place but I lost my book and haven't been in years. Was thinking of trying to put together a MD meet-up. There are a lot of breweries in the area - Lone Oak was one of the last I went to. Frederick also has a lot of places.

 

This post is 3+ years old but yes. I put together a few meets at Frisco and the turnout was always good.

 

Yeah, I saw the post was old but it's been pretty much dead since then. I know when I asked for shop recommendations in the DMV area there wasn't a lot of feedback - was just curious if there is activity in the MD area. If it helps anyone in the future, I recommend KB Customs in Westminster, MD.

If you arrange another meet at Frisco please post here so I see it. I'll try to make it out

 

Usually I was able to get about 20 trucks together give or take. I actually left Maryland 3 yeas ago.

 

Nice seeing some bumps to the MD group. I see a ton of 4Runners locally but I have no idea if anyone's on social media and whatnot.

I did open up a MD 4Runners FB group but haven't gotten many people to join. Hoping it grows "organically" but we'll see.

 

Testing out the new lift at the Frederick Watershed - the lack of road maintenance is making it fun up there.

 

Well let's blow this thread up and drum up some interest. I'm going to head out to green ridge state forest next weekend to recoinnoiter campsites - maybe let my foundling sit in my lap and steer. I've got my favorites but want to see some of the others. I'd like to plan a get together in a few weeks at a brewery - lots of farm breweries in central MD.

 

Pretty new to this forum but I'm in Maryland. I'd be down to meet up at a brewery with other 4Runner owners.

 

Where abouts in MD are you? I'm up in Harford County

Anyone done Town Creek water crossings in green ridge state forest? I've seen trail reports and pics that the water has been as shallow as 18" and as deep as headlights on a mildly lifted wrangler. I'm guessing with it being summer they may be on the low side.

I may hold off exploring those until I do the diff breather mod. I'm heading out there Friday to explore a little more of the forest!

Great post! I've been wanting to go to Green Ridge in my 4R but just haven't had the motivation to make that dive out just yet. I did go back in the day in my Tacoma and had a blast though

 

When was the last time you went to the watershed? Found a trip report from quite a while back that looked like it had some fun water crossings.

I tried to look it up last night and put down a new route in GAIA but everything since late 2019 said that all of the side roads were closed and it was just the main, wide, gravel road that was still open. Heard it was a blast to drive through when there's a bit of snow.

I want to map out some trails and get to know it in case we get some snow this winter (fingers crossed).

I think I've hit about all the open trails in GRSF - there are two I still want to hit but the gates have been closed since summer. I'm afraid those may be for snowmobiles only (so maybe I try again in winter)

 

what shop ended up doing your lift?

 

Thinking about hitting the watershed for the first time tomorrow. Looks like another 2-4" of snow on top of the 4+ we got earlier this week.

Any takers?
