    Hello!

New to the forum. New to the 4Runner community. I'm a complete newbie. I've owned E46 BMW's and am familiar with that chassis, but almost clueless when it comes to Japanese Cars.

I recently got one with a remanufactured engine (3VZE) and have done these things:

    New...by PO

    - Remanufactured Engine (New Fan Clutch, Fuel Injector Service and a bunch of other things)
    - Clutch (Flywheel Resurfaced)
    - Master/Slave Cylinder
    - Radiator
    - Hoses

    New...by trusted shop

    - Valve Cover Gaskets (leaked even though it's new...)
    - Brake Rotor/Pads
    - Upper Ball Joint
    - Pitman Arm
    - All New Fluids (Engine, Trans, Transfer, Diff, Coolant, Brake, Clutch)
    - AC Compressor Kit (r134a retrofit)
    - Throttle Cable
    - Throttle Body Clean

    Will soon...by the trusted shop

    - Spark Plugs/Wires
    - Distributor Cap/Rotor
    - Fuel Filter

Hopefully, with all of this done and $1,600 Spent (includes "will soon"), the car will be ready for a LONG time!
