Can't believe what a great "truck" the 4 runner is. I live in Bahamas and it's short trips and hot. 4runner has 150,000 miles and starts and runs like new.
Replaced AC last year with new compressor. A few starters along the way, and brakes a few times.

Paint on body looks factory new. What? Never owned a car new or used that had such a great paint job right from factory.

Toyota builds the best cars and trucks - no doubt about it.
V6 has lost no power in 14 years. Same exhaust system? What?
Interior is in great condition still. What?
No coolant issues in 14 years - and it's hot, hot here.

I owned a GMC Jimmy from new and it rusted away - and through the floor boards. It still ran relatively well when I sold it for $600.

Glad I didn't get leather seats. :spending:

Bought this off the original owner... 88' s10 with 232k, all original driveline. AC didn't work when I bought it though and it needed a tune up lol. Most was all original paint that I just polished, I think the door was repainted due to a collision.

    GM isn't all bad lol.

Power steering? I remember my buddies 80s s10 back in highschool in the 90s. Looked cool but it didn't have power steering.

Mine did have power steering... However it leaked badly and I never got around to changing lmao! I had big plans for it... LS swap, all that good stuff. My daughter's came along and now we have a 4r as a toy .. it was a great compromise lol.

    Btw welcome OP

    Yes pics please

Sorry you had problems. I just off loaded an 18 platinum. I've had 3 150s since 14 and not one issue, love the 10 speed, 18 had 35s, a tune, fast as heck and when I babied it got 27 mpg hwy 20 in the city.. only reason got rid of it is it's to damn big to drive in the city, hard to park anywhere.
