Replaced my stock lowbeams with H9's yesterday.

    Really easy mod.

Haven't driven at night with them yet, but I'll let you know how it goes.

I still need to adjust my headlights lower after adding these and lifting it 1.6" in the front.

If you look at the stock bulb vs an H9, they are very similar except for 2 areas. First, you're going to want to look at the metal tabs that screw into the housing that hold the bulb in place. There is an extra metal piece on one of the tabs of the H9 that needs trimming with some cutting pliers. The second difference is there is an extra plastic tab where the plug goes on the H9. You trim that tab off with a box cutter so that it looks like your stock bulb plug.

Super easy. I was done with everything in 10 minutes.

You'll be waiting a while their shipping and customer service is something to be desired. Wont order from them again. rather go baja design or rigid.

I added paracord grab handles. I like the length of the handles, it allows me to hold the handle and have my elbow on the window.

    Thoughts on both, please.
How many miles before you replaced the sway bar bushings? Are those not Energy Suspension bushings? Only ones I have seen in red...
I have CAI waiting to install. Any tips?
    Thanks.

I have about 4500 miles, basically taking the advice of others on here about changing from the OEM rubber bushings that flex more. The brand is Prothane identical to the Energy Suspension ones, probably made by them. Comes in red or black, ordered red by mistake on the front .$45 on AMAZON for F/R, no brainer! Shake down test seems firmer but more drive time will tell. Don't need to remove the skid plate but it was easier for me with it out of the way. Why struggle! Just a 14mm socket for SB brackets, a 12 for the skid and a 10 for the plastic filler piece. Do 1 side at a time, no need to drop the whole thing.
For the TRD CAI, not much drive time yet with it on, it's not loud at all at idle or low RPM but gives a deeper tome once you get into it. Just hoping for a little better 0-60 with this heavy beast not much more expected performance wise. Install was straight forward, watched a cple UTUBES to get an idea and followed the step by step that came with it, less than 1 hr. Hardest part was undoing the tape around the harness to split off the MAF wires so they can reach. It's a bit awkward to reach in there.

Installed the 6112/5160 combo with Wheelers T13 springs. Had 275/70/17 BFGs installed at Discount yesterday n the TRD Pro wheels picked up during the TRD sale. I’m pleased with the results. Bilsteins set at 2” lift.

I am 6'4 & have a great friend that love helping but has a broken back. I am aware of the splicing you speak of. I shall stress the importance.
We always watch a quick YouTube video before starting. Also, I read & follow all instructions. They are given for a reason & have saved me many times.
Wait, 4,500 miles & your sway bar bushings are out... is it all offroading?
Your thorough response is much appreciated!
    Thank you.

Actually got this done this week. Drove to a friend's house multi states away to use his lift. It was worth it. The ride is very nice. Firmer than stock and solid, I made the right choices off of Wheelers recommendations for what I need the suspension to do, except no diff drop. Didn't feel it was necessary.

Local dealer basically only option for Hawaii, ship fees make it ridiculous otherwise. I am fortunate to have a friend that helps me with a employee discount.
