I have a 2018 TRD OR with 15,000 miles on it averaging 19.1 MPG.

    Can anyone confirm this:

    1) If I reset my average mpg to 0 and drive 15 miles...

    2) If I test drive a new 2019 PRO resetting the average mpg to 0 and drive 15 miles...

If I do items 1 and 2, should I net close to the same results? If not, why??

My concern is I don't want a Pro if I'm netting an average of 15 mpg...

I changed some lights, tires and tinted windows...mind blowing huh
its the same 4runner engine and tranny, don't read too much into it, 15 miles is waaaayyy to short of a distance to try to see fuel consumption. You should see what you're getting in your 2018 now

You are overthinking the MPG on the lie-o-meter. The 4Runner with 15,000 may have a slightly better MPG than the new engine because it is better broken in motor but not by much.

I read it fine. You worried about a Pro MPG.

You should get the same mpg in both trucks. Just changing the tires or tire pressure can change the mpg averages 1-2mpg. So you're really splitting hairs there.
