    Barcelona Trail:

So I was using this website as well as the other one when researching the mods I wanted to do. I took notes on lift kits, tires, wheels, uca's, etc. etc. This is what I wrote down regarding jba vs spc:

JBA: lifetime warranty, balljoints are easy to swap out, easy to install, well built and sturdier, arms have higher castor built in, not adjustable (which is easier for alignment purposes), red color

SPC: very adjustable which could be hard to align for some shops, balljoints wear fast, issues with bushings over time, black color

Not saying the above is right or wrong, just what I found when doing research....

I think you've nailed it, regarding pros and cons of the 2. I can imagine a scenario where a shop is in over their head with the SPC UCA. AND the JBA are RED and backed! Nicely done!

Any lift? I just picked up a 4Runner. My first time owning one. I want to put some new wheels and tires on it, but not lift it yet. I went way too far down the modding rabbit hole with my Tacoma. :D

While my 4Runner isn’t a newer one like many of yours are (97 limited). I am looking to get a 3in lift in it and some 31/ 10.5 tires underneath.. Does anyone have any insight on the best bang for your buck? I found a good lift on Rough Country for $300 but I know toytec is a favorite.. And have you come across any problems post lift?

Quick question lift or no lift. I think I want a 3 inch lift so I can run 285/79/17 but don’t really know if it’s worth it. Let me know

Is anyone running a 2-3in lift with 265/70/17? I’m wanting to lift between 2-2.5in but not in the market for bigger tires yet. Will this look stupid lifting that much with smaller tires? I currently have nitto terra grapplers 265/70/17 with TRDwheels. If you have this setup, please post a pic.

I'm pretty sure SCS designs them with optimal offset/backspace to look great on any 4Runner, Tacoma or FJ. Rest assured I'm sure they'll look badass. Post up when you get them installed.

Thank you for sharing. I love this look! I have 285/70/17s with a 3” lift. I have learned more about wheels & tires in these past few weeks than I ever thought I would.

It’s great, better than original. These trucks really drive well with a firmer and higher end suspension on them. They’re more direct, responsive and brake better without the soft OEM springs. ELKA is expensive but it’s worth it, imho.
