pretty tired of slipping and sliding around on the trails so I think it’s time for some chunkier tires. I see lots of guys rolling nittos and Goodyear’s it I don’t think what I’m doing justifies those prices. I saw some good looking rubber from Kuhmo and Federal, would they be acceptable? Thanks

I've ran kuhmos on my pickup. They were good tires but didn't last. I maybe got 15-20k out of them. Just bought a set of Cooper stt maxx's for my third gen and couldn't be happier with them. 285/75/16 with warranties less than 900 bucks out the door at discount tire.

Mastercraft May be worth looking into. Cooper Tires house brand, and Made in Merica!

No offense and maybe I got a bad set but I have MasterCraft Courser's on my Ford and they are the worst tires I have ever owned. They are loud and wear like shit. I cannot get them balanced to save my life either.

Shit, were you able to get them replaced? I’ve had the same experience with my CXT’s, determined 1 was “out of round” (whatever that means) and was replaced.

All in all between the Falken Wildpeak MT01’s, BF Goodrich KBro 2’s, Goodyear Duratracs, and Mastercraft CXT’s.

The Mastercraft CXT’s for me was by far the best with regard to performance on/Offroad, value, and warranty. So far those are the only tires we have run between our Tacoma and 4runner so those are the only ones I can speak on

They were brand new on the truck when I got it. Previous owner purchased the warranty on the tires but the shop he got them from said the warranty didn't transfer with owners. They're 37x12.50x17s and the receipt for them is just over 1800 bucks. Left me a little salty with MasterCraft tires
