So the vsc and check engine light is now on in my 05, Plug in a scanner and it showed that the gas cap was bad, I replace it and still on, now it’s been a few days since I replace the damn thing. I was reading some threats in here and some guy said he had a zpc done ( I have no clue what that is) but I’m not sure if I need to take it to a shop or if I just try to restart the computer by disconnecting the battery. Is this a common issue? Not so serious issue ?

Disconnect the battery. Unplug both pos. And neg. Then touch the 2 together. That will sure get all the residual power out and hook back up. See if that clears it.

Or you can just pull the ECU fuse and reinstall it.
