Need Help with Running Boards!

    I started with predator steps and decided to trade out. Went to the dealership and bought these Westin r5 runner boards and I’m disappointed in how long the mounting brackets are. Were these installed incorrectly or are they simply not the best option for a 4Runner? Any input or suggestions for similar looking running boards is greatly appreciated!
