I have the Philips LED fogs and they're ok so far on the factory wiring.

This wiring diagram is from the link for the wiring harness on Amazon. I inserted the 4 arrows. So do these 4 wires all go to the battery-- two per terminal?

And the relay just gets attached somewhere under the hood?

    What about a ground?

This would be my first time ever messing with electrical. Just want to be sure I got it right.

Bottom two arrows goto the battery, two on the right, at the switch, those goto what ever you want to power the "system" with, that basically tells it when the fogs can be turned on or not.
If you connect them to the battery, you can power the fogs ANY time, even if the truck is off,
if you connect them to say, accessory power, then you can only turn the fogs on when accessory power is on.
What you are "switching" with the switch, is the relay. Which really doesnt take much power draw all all,
The relay is drawing its actual power straight from the battery, and feeding it to the fogs (when the switch is on, making the relay flip closed)

Are any of you running amber/yellow fog leds?
I am thinking about running these with yellow film over the stock housings.

I just deleted a previous post asking a question- I wasn't entirely with you but now I understand. Thanks for the info.

Can you give me an example of something you'd tap into with the wires in the right for ACC power?

I'm running the Philips 65k White led fogs with yellow laminX film. They're totally awesome.

They're not this green in person. But a hint of green due to the 65k color + yellow film. But it's not bad. I'd still call them amber. More amber than I was expecting. I thought they'd be yellow.

They totally overpower the low beams in the near field. Probably at least out to 30 feet, and much better peripherally than the OEM halogens. And yet they aren't glaring at all to oncoming drivers. Cutoff is still far below the low beams.

I'm a stickler about not bothering other drivers with light scatter. I will NOT do it. So I had someone drive all around me from every angle and distance to verify they weren't bothersome. They're totally fine.

Some reviews I read about the Philips yellow led fogs mentioned the yellow coating wearing off with time and use. Apparently they've addressed the problem but I didn't want to take a chance. Plus the white ones were much cheaper on Amazon than the yellow ones were from other retailers.

Not tried it, but there is acually a ACC on the fuse block, upper right, which I would think would work. You can use an add-a-circuit to tap into it.

I have some yellow film over the fogs on my BRZ, and while it looks cool in the daylight with the lights off, when on they are very sickly green.
And what they shine on the road even has a green tint to it, I hate it.
Thats why I will probably go with some sort of amber led.
Good point on the philips ones, they arent even a true amber led, which is silly,
these are an actual amber led and people seem to like them alot.

Sorry to bump an old thread but would a mod like this for a 4th gen be feasible on a 5th gen? I'm not electrical expert or anything just throwing it out there as this seems the simplest way from all the other threads I've read here and on the other forum.

This is what you want for the 5th gen.

Yup saw that mod also. But was hoping for something less intrusive and still allowed the fog light indicator in dash to function. As a side note, I did see where Antman added an LED to the indicator but was a lot of work for a silly little light.

I'm not a big fan of cutting up wires. I'd rather find a plug and play mod in case I ever change my mind down the road or need to revert back to stock. The 4th gen mod was the least intrusive method I found. Hoping there was a way to do the same on a 5th gen but I'm not big on electrical/wiring etc to test and experiment.

But so far there hasn't been a plug and play work around for this yet...
