    Hello. New to the forums and to 4runners in general. I used to have a Trail Teams FJ Cruiser, but that is as close as I can get.

    I am currently daily driving my Ford Focus RS and I would like to garage it and only drive it on sunny days and weekends. Seeing as I also like getting greasy and having a project vehicle i am considering a 1st gen 4runner. I found a few, but I would like to know what to be on the look out for when shopping for these so that I do not walk into a lemon. I know to look out for the usual rust and salvage titles and all that, but are there any OMG LEAVE things that I should be aware of with these vehicles?
