I have a airmattress with a built-in air pump. Will the power outlet in the back be strong enough to power this? What happens if the power outlet fails? Do I blow a fuse or does it shutoff automatically?

Did a quick search an on Amazon and an AC pump on a 110 volt system draws 250 watts. If your inverter is the same rating as mine you have 400 watts in Park and 100 watts when under way. So yes it should work. The DC powered one I looked at is 75 watts, but it will be less efficient.
