Sonoran Steel lift, custom bumper ...more to come
    Good evening,

I've used this forum for years for good info, and there is no shortage of different opinions. Since I finally got around to building something for my own truck, I'm curious to see what other 4unner owners think of it.

You might note the blinkers are missing....which was not intentional. Since I never stood in front of the truck when the blinkers were on I thought the lights in the bumper were just markers...they aren't I learned.

Sort of fixed that by clipping the end of the blinkers harness and making the actual markers the new blinkers. A good bush fix, but it's going to need some refinement.

Another note, the bumper is clear coated bare steel. I run a small Fab operation and just couldn't stand to cover up all the metal work.

I've got a bunch more pictures of the build if anyone is interested in how it got to this point.

Thanks for checking it out and any and all comments are welcome!

Hello, I could do a custom bumper. I'm in Az though, and don't have a manufacturing operation like the bigger aftermarket bumper places. Everything I do is a hand made one off custom. Usually when I build something for a rig, I build it specifically to that rig. Unfortunately though, for that reason a pure custom bumper is at least double what any of the manufactured ones would cost.

That looks awesome! I worked as a fabricator for just about 10 years. I'm still current on my certs and am the resident fabricator at work but its not my actual job. The shop I came from did a lot of high end architectural steel work and we clear coated about 90% percent of it. I love the look of an awesome fab job with a clear coat. I've never seen it on a rig before and it looks badass! Good job man
