    Heyyy! I'm brand new to the 4runners.com forum and I'm Not sure if this has been covered. I wanted to make a purchase from another members post. How do I safely make a purchase without putting myself at risk of being ripped off

    If not a local face to face sale... Make sure you pay with a protected method such as PayPal goods and services (additional fee). I’m a moderator on the other site for Tacomas(tacomaworld) and over there, you can only post things for sale after 50 posts. If someone has a single post, I’d use caution. Even those with a ton of posts can rip people off.

    Personally, I only deal with local sales unless the seller is reputable.
