My 2000 4Runner's 20 amp EFI fuse keeps blowing which of course causes the engine to shut off. Happens when I'm driving it and I have to coast it to the side of the road. Local Toyota stealership can't figure out why it keeps doing this. Anyone ever heard of this? Any ideas to fix? The truck has 195,000 miles on it.

Well all you have to do is figure out what that fuse is protecting(where the power goes). Without looking at a diagram I would say that is powers, All the fuel injectors, perhaps an oxygen sensor heater, maybe the ignition module, and fuel pump. Once you know where all the branches are start your testing.

First your have to find out what the fuse is protecting(Where the power goes, once you know that much, connect a DVOM in line with your fuse to measure amps, disconnect branches of the affected circuit one at a time until the amps are less. Once I'm at work I can look at a diagram and be of more assistance.
