I'm playing with the Vvid air release tint and trying to cover up the last of the ugly chrome bling. I Think it can be done, I just don't have the skill. I came to the conclusion it would be easier if I remove the headlights and try that, but currently looking for a spare set to play with. Has anyone vinyl wrapped the headlights on a 5th gen?

i did fog lamps looks great. i have seperated the lens on my motorcycle headlamp to add projectors no reason you couldnt do the same thing and paint the chrome. easy to do once headlight is off vehicle if you dont mind putting your headlight in the oven to loosen glue

That's why I need to find spare headlights. I may go after market and add projectors to them while I'm playing with them.

if you separate them the easiest way is to preheat over to 170 wrap headlight with towel and check ever five minutes then once the glue is hot enough it will get sticky to the touch. you have to put them back in to get glue hot enough to seal when reassembling

Yes, so I have read. That's not wrapping them with vinyl, which is what I'm looking for.

I think he’s referring to tinting the lens of the headlight assembly.
