I got my ARB CKMTA12 installed in about 4 hours, all in. I am very sure it could be done quicker but I’m going to share a few things I think will help you if you are doing the same set up. I’m terrible about taking pictures so I’m sorry to say there are only two of the finished product.

    Parts:
ARB CKMTA12 compressor. I missed the group buy so I bought it off eBay which came from http://www.roadlessgear.com/ The plug came in damaged where it was smashed in shipping and they had the replacemt mailed to me in less than 1 day. Highly recommend seller!
Rago Fabrication Compressor Mount. ARB air coupler. THIS DOES NOT come with the compressor. https://expeditionessentials.com/products/arb-air-coupler
Coupler Pacifier. Available in 3 colors, I liked the blue. Expensive for just a pacifier for your compressor but it’s top notch high quality. http://absolute-wits-end.com/arb-fitting-air-coupler-pacifier/
Lanyard so I don’t loose my expensive coupler. https://smile.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B015QU7GR8?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title
    CH4X4 push button https://www.ch4x4.com/product/ch4x4-toyota-small-push-switch-air-compressor-symbol-8/
Other miscellaneous items, Teflon tape, wire connectors, shrink tubing, + & - BATTERY CONNECTORS these do not come with the compressor.

The directions that come with the compressor are very thorough but they are almost completely based around you installing locker(s) and using the manifold. I have left myself open to add the manifold and tank later but I’m in no rush. The wiring was a lot easier than I thought, but it took way too much thinking. The power and ground is extremely easy except for the fact ARB does not include the terminal connecters for your hot and ground, I understand why, you should just be prepared to get them. The other line is pretty simple too, either way. Since I will not be doing lockers, I cut that long pig tail about 12” from the plug. Almost everything past that is for the lockers or from the switch to ignition or the dimmer. So, when using the CH4X4 switch, ARB black-switch black, ARB purple-switch green, those are the only wires going from the compressor to the switch (in this application). I want my compressor to be hot all the time, not key on so I used “red 1”, the one next to green, ran that one all the way to the battery with an in-line fuse. That worked but now the light is on all the time, I am going to work on that later and update this post (share what you used for ignition too please).
I used Rago Fabrication’s mounting bracket and it worked ALMOST perfectly. They have a great video linked in the production discription but it’s not completely accurate, it will definitely help you get the job finished regardless. My biggest problem was they show where you run 3 bolts up from the fender to use as a stud but my 4Runner has plugs in there I could not get out. Luckily I am a hardware pack rat and had some short bolts I could just use from the top side.
If it looks like the coupler is taller than the bottom of the hood, it’s not far from it. It does push on the insulation but I have no worries at all about it.
