2005 SR5 4.7L advise

Hey all,just sold my 1993 3.0 with 142k and am looking at an 05 with SR5 V8 with 165k. I live in Montana found car in Denver so Dad is going to look at it for me. I know the t-belt should have been replaced at least once by now if not twice. Any problems with the new 5 speed trans? Certain quirks we should be looking for? Looks rust free and pretty clean. Thanks for any input.

 

By now all majors fluids should have been changed at least once Transmission, Brake, Coolant, power steering, differential, etc. etc. Yes, and as you mentioned a timing belt. Can't speak to "quirks" but personally I'd get every fluid changed.

 

I have a 2005 4.7L with 165,000 on it. Drives and runs great. The biggest thing I'd look at is the timing belt first and foremost.
