Hey Guys, I'm replacing the pinion seal on my differential. This is a 2005 2wd SR5 with the 4.0.

I failed to get a good look at how deep the old seal was seated. While installing the new one I'm not sure if I've got it in all the way or if I need to get it in a little further. There's still a bit of the side wall of the seal showing maybe 1/16" to 1/8". Is that in all the way or should it be flush or recessed from the lip of the casing?

    Thanks
