Just curious if anyone has had problems with the lug nuts for the FN pro wheels? I had both Discount tire and Firestone tell me the lug nuts are unsafe because they cannot get enough rotations? Has anyone had this experience?

Not the same wheels, but the same issue...

I have a set of Konig Countersteer Type X wheels that I bought from FN wheels. The conical seat lug nuts would only get 6 turns on the studs.

Discount Tire was unhappy with only 6 turns, but they said 6 turns is what they consider the minimum safe thread engagement, so they installed them for me.

I ran those wheels for about a year with no problems.

Discount was only able to get 5 turns on these, same with Firestone

FWIW...Discount Tire couldn't get 6 turns when they finger tightened them to test fit.

They were only able to get 6 turns by using a torque wrench on the lugs.

I'm not sure if those lugs would work, discount wasn't able to find any lugs from their suppliers that would work with the wheels.

If they are drilled like my Konig wheels from FN, only conical will work.

Take a picture of the wheel where the lug nut attaches. Also discount tire centers aren’t exactly well known for their amazing employees.

Yes so the extended ones I mentioned should solve your problem. Order them and find out if they don’t you can return them. At least then you will know.

Has anyone had to use hub rings for these wheels?

I have FN’s konig countersteer type x on my Limited. I have been having issues with highway speeds since I installed them 3 weeks ago. The steering wheel vibrates once I hit 60mph.

I went back to the dealer for balancing. The issue went away for a week or so. Afterwards, I took the highway the steering wheel started shaking again. Also, I noticed that my 4runner started pulling a little bit to the right when I brake.
    Any suggestions?
