I just bought this 94, and the keys that previous owner had do not operate the rear window to make it go up or down. I cant even get it to turn. Any suggestions??

How hard did you try wiggling the key to make it work? I recently got a 94 myself, and the key works great on the driver's door and mostly well on the ignition, but the passenger door and rear hatch key really need some wiggling before it works. It may just be worn out.

I have a 94 as well and my passenger side door has the same problem. i use the same key for everything but it wont even budge on the passenger side. I would take it to a locksmith maybe or get a replacement motor.

Mine had a replacement tailgate and no key when I got it. I just ordered a barrel with a key on eBay and replaced it. Now I just have a different key for the tailgate. I’ve read it’s possible to take it apart and rekey. If you take it out, you gotta get the chrome ring off without destroying it. (I destroyed a couple and was able to get my key to work it). The easy way to get your key to work is just pull the pins that don’t fit your key. Or all of them basically any key could turn it. Not all that secure but who would ever check. I believe there is a video out there on doing it. I saw when I was messing with mine. Probably could remove it and take it to a locksmith.
