Does the v6 manual 4x4 transmission bolt up to the 22re?

    I have a 22re manual 4x4 and im having trouble with the transmission ,and im looking to swap out for a working trans and i was wondering if the v6 manual 4x4 trans bolts up to the 22re??

    No different transmission the 2.7 has a W56 or G58 the 3.0 came with a R150F

    Damm i was realy hoping to get away with the swap its hard to find a decent 22re 4x4 transmission

    Chuck i reccomend looking for 4runners that are being parted out. I did a tranny swap this weekend on the same vehicle. Was able to find a tranny already pulled but there are a lot of 2nd gens getting parted out.

    Mine is a V6. Didn't realize yours was a V8. Look on craiglist or facebook marketplace. Just searching "3.0 Automatic Transmission" worked for me
