    Yes. Used one on my 3rd gen, 5th gen, and now my 4th gen.

    3" ToyTec lift,
    Was it pretty easy to code for each gen?

    Used daily and easy to code after you track down the codes.

    Yeah, like WallyT4R says above, you'll have to track down some specific gauge codes if you want to monitor things like the transmission temp. That's the only gauge that I use that I had to program manually and it was different for each gen.

    I purchased this in 2016 august. still working . I programed it to read the Toyota torque converter and pan tranny temp.
    I have this also setup to work in my 1996 Impala and truck . It is a bit of a PITA to program it when your learning how to do this .. after you have the skill not that hard.
    also if you have any problems call the company up in Arizona they will help you if any issues ..

    this is good to do the tranny fluid check level or replacing the fluid .. 110-114F is the temp to check the level with the engine running . pan must be level to do this .

    2007 unit may require you to send it to AZ and have it updated .. possible but contact the company they are very helpful.
    this is how I did it..
    TFP =TRANS FLUID PAN
    TXD 07E02182 RXF 046105820000 RXD 2808 MTH 00090005FFD8

    TTT =TOYOTA TRANS TORQUE CONVERTER
    TXD 07E02182 RXF 046105820000 RXD 3808 MTH 00090005FFD8

    the RXD code is what will change from pan to torque converter 2808 is the pan code.

    Now I used the TFT name to indicate my GM tranny temps ...codes are different than the Toyota ..

    3" ToyTec lift,
    Thanks for all the replies. I just received the scangage today. Can't wait to get off work to go install and play with.

    Ok so kind of weird, it seems I can have either the 3808 code or the 2808 code but not both at the same time. The code I had was the 2808...I put the 3808 code in and now the 2808 doesn't work. So I am not sure which one I am monitoring. I guess the 3808 is the torque converter which is really all I should be concern about right? Would the fluid be hotter than the TT?

    I read both temps at the same time .. you have to change the name .. TTT Toy Torq Temp 3808 is most times the same temp . if the tranny is upshifting on heavy load up hill etc then this torq temp will be higher.

    in traffic slow speed it should be the same .

    TFP Trans Fluid Pan 2808 is stable slowly increases / decreases .you need this to check fluid level ..

    Yeah everything is correct and the names are different, I think it's because I have a very old model Scanguage II
