    So far the 4runner did its job. Pulled all right just not fast.

    I bought the brake controller so I could pull my dad’s Casita trailer which it has a fully loaded weight of 3,000 lbs.

    So I too am curious the weight to get estimate how well it will put that trailer

    This is one is close to 3400 dry weight. And with the break box. Its stops better with the trailer then with out it lol. No nose dive. Hahaha

    Ya it is. For now. I thought about putting airbags on back but not sure. I am using a weight distribution hitch. Without it its squated pretty bad.

    Nice! I would definitely put airbags on. Would also be interesting to know your transmission temps. Do you own a Scangauge?

    My dad put airbags on his f150 said it works great. I just bought my 4Runner like 2 weeks ago, so don’t have funds for everything at once

    I think the best thing about the airbags is that they are a huge bang for the buck. Not that expensive but really increase the safety and feel while towing on the soft suspension that comes stock on the 4.
