My brother in law has a 95 4runner with a G144 axle code. Not running at the moment and is pretty much a parts rig. He said I can have the rear third member and front diff if I swap mine in when I take his. My question is regarding the ADD. BestGen sent me some very good info on what he did for his. Will the longside axle from the 95 work on my 86 front diff? From what I gathered from BestGen I will need my longside on the 95 diff to get around the ADD, just wondering if it works vice versa before I pull it apart.

You should be able to bolt it back together. If it'll still work,:notsure: I suppose you could reconnect all the vacuum lines needed. Does it need to work? IMG_0254.jpgYou'll need to reuse the long bolts. I just cut mine off since they weren't being used again and the bolt heads need a special socket.

Ya he wants it working after the swap, why I'm not sure. The 95 hasn't moved in years. He wants a grand for the whole 4runner. I may just buy it from him, take what I want and scrap it.
