I just upgraded my low beams with XenonDepot Xtreme HID’s....easy to install and the brightness is incredible compared to the stock bulbs. I’m really pleased.

One question....the step in the headlight cut off line seems pretty large...is this normal?

Any feedback or help would be great!

I think that's still a decent cutoff; you've got the steps, yes, but no scattered glare. Might want to perhaps try adjusting them down a bit more and see if it flattens out a little more? Might be catching a small reflection or something.

I installed XD hids also and had to adjust my beams down because I was blasting people in the face.

I changed some lights, tires and tinted windows...mind blowing huh
I had to adjust down just a little bit. With the halogens it was fine but the increase with the HID and I got flashed a couple of times.

Did your HID’s have the same step on the left side?

What do you mean by step?

The light should be lower on the driver's side. As you move toward passenger the pattern should rise.

The step will get larger the farther away it is from the target. Some projectors have a smaller step at the same distance as yours but it's also do to the fact that you have a halogen projector and a HID bulb. It will never look as good as a HID projector w/ HID bulbs.

That’s really helpful. I didn’t know they make HID projectors!

The Retrofit Source has everything you need. It's not an easy swap to do though. You need to bake the headlights in order to open them up to get to the projectors. There are people who will do this service for you with the projectors of your choice and any additional light features for a hefty fee. The Retrofit Source also has some XB LED headlight ready to swap in, plug and play. They are not cheap and the performance is not as good as HID.
