I Have a 2nd Gen 1995. When I bought it last month two interior door handles were broken. I put cheap new Amazon handles and both have again broken. Is there a problem with this vehicles handles? Is there a good after market handle?

    Thanks

Maybe pull the door panels off and do some maintenance to the linkage and also spray grease to the window components. Then adjust everything so it's in proper working order.

Did they break in the cold?

Then I would agree with @WallyT4R take the door panels off and inspect all the moving parts and oil/grease them. Then buy either oem handles or a set from an auto parts store so that they can be returned if they break.
