nice work, that’s a lot, compared to my skills and speeds.
can I ask what’s the standard method I should use to measure our down travel? (obviously lift the truck up)

You could measure anywhere on wheel/tire). As much as it drops its close to your down travel. Its just hard to measure uptravel in the front since the springs are 600lb(ish)

Thanks for posting. I always thought the mirror and turn signals were a one piece unit. I bashed the turn passenger signal when I backed into a tree. The sun was in the mirror and blinded me. Gonna order these.

No problem. It’s a pretty easy swap. Took about 15 minutes to do both. Just keep in mind you’re still going to be left with this broken trim piece IMG_0895.jpg

It looked good, just a little dirty nothing out of the ordinary. Probably didn’t need to replace but I did it because it was opened up.

pardon my newb question, but does the transmission drain typically require the belly to be opened up, or were you doing it anyway to get to the filter inside?

No worries, usually you can just drain and fill the trans without opening it up. I just did it because I was curious what the filter looked like.

Here’s a video that explains it better then I can. Hope that helps.

In the rust belt it's better to not take the pan off as the bolts can snap.

I thought mine was low mileage, but I'm going to catch you. Currently at 8400 and have a 2500 roundtrip roadtrip planned in mid-October
