Hi - On my 4th 4Runner (1st Gen, 3rd Gen, 2 - 5th Gens), but my first TRD Pro - 2023 Black Pro. My question is related to the TRD Pro Fox suspesion. My runner has a little over 50k miles and the suspension is starting to make some noise, so it seems to be ready for a rebuild. Problem is I can't be without it for weeks as I send it away, so I'm considering buying a second set from Ebay and installing them and taking my current ones and sending them for a rebuild, so I always have a spare set (planning to keep it a long time). The set I'm looking at was a takeoff from a 2020 TRD Pro. I have seen conflicting information on the forums about whether the 2020 Fox suspension is identica to the setup on my 2023 TRD Pro, or if there are any differences in setup or performance. Anyone expert here that can help me know as I don't want to spend the $ and find out there are differences.

I think I want to just stick with the Fox with the reserviors, but also open to any advice on other setups that could be similar performace and setup (don't want to lift it, just care about performance). Minimal offroad, but do want it to be solid for the few times I get to go scramble on rocks here in the east. Really appreciate the help!

I think they are the same specs and nothing different from year to year. You might want to consider just putting a stock suspension for now while you get yours rebuild. Stock suspension components go very cheap sometimes.
