Gonna start posting for ideas for the pre facelift 5th gens (my personal favorite) so here is mine:

its a 2010 limited 4wd, bought it at 146k, just crossed 212k and treated her to some new shoes, brakes, and a suspension refresh I went with Falken Wildpeak at4w and Tokicos with OEM springs taken off a TRD off road.

Next up is going to be deleting the 3rd row seat that I've never used, so if you have any ideas drop them below!

Agree, my favorite look too. Something about the front headlights/bumper. I love my 4R, but every time I see a pre-facelift, I admire it.

Re-route the AC drain hose if you haven’t yet. It’s on my list of things to do since it drains directly on the frame.

In case you'd like to see what yours would look like with C4 sliders and trail edition headlights (I retrofitted mine with projectors). I gutted my 3rd row and rear plastics to make room for a fridge, drawer, and a ton of electronics (amps, dsp, lifepo4 batt, dcdc charger, inverter, etc). Don't mind the fan, I was testing the inverter.

About that drain line mod . Has anyone actually seen damage from the line draining on the frame ? When I sold my 2010TE after 12.5 years of constant A/C use here in the south the frame in this area was still perfect.

Generally happens in highly salted winter road areas. I have no drain extension and -0- rust.

Yeah I could see that area being damp and salt sticking to it .

Nope! It is AC drain water and will not do anything to the frame. 15 years and the frame still looks the same with no rust. But I am also in the no rust belt.
I have done this mod though because of heard mentality. And because theoratically there should not be water dripping on the frame perpetually.

I went and took pictures yesterday to get a closer look. Not as big of a difference between both sides as I thought.

    Passenger side with drain hose

Drivers side - a bit harder to see.
