I don’t care what the fuel mileage is on my truck, I have to buy the fuel regardless

They all have the same bad mileage. They are all the same. 4runners are for miles, not mileage. I get 18-20 with 33s. Received 19-24mpg with factory 20s.

    Stock so far…..except better tires.
Came from Calgary to the Kootenays ....about 620 km. Filled at the beginning, and re-filled at home. 62 litres. Love it when the math is easy!

For our American friends, that's around 23.5 mpg.

Speed limit is 90 km/h through the National Parks...(55 mph) so that's how you save fuel, and enjoy the scenery.

TRD Pro with 265/75R17 BFG KO2 E-rated, no other mods.

Aside from towing a huge trailer up a massive hill (something I've never done, so only guessing), I'm of the belief that speed effects MPG more than any other single factor, and in some cases more than multiple factors. Going from stock to 33" mud terrain tires, a 2" lift, and a roof rack with 8" tall storage cases and jerry cans dropped me about 1.5MPG. All because I drive like a grandma.
