Just noticed a rattle noise coming from my glovebox over uneven roads and bumps. It will stop if I press on the door, and also stops if I open it all the way and leave it open.

Anyone had this and found a solution? Thinking I might need to apply some felt tape to the edges to get it to stop

Maybe some rubber stopper/plug is missing that would otherwise cushion the shaking.

I have rolls of sticky velcro tape, both the hook and the loop. A small piece of the loop will stop any rattle if it's due to too much clearance.
